SOTD - Mike

Haven't been here for a minute, but I outlined the introduction post and created the two banners that have been present on the site.  Probably going to stick with this design for a bit, with minor changes every now and then.  With that aside, let's get to this song of the day.




Kendrick's been getting a lot of hype as of late, as anyone who follows rap knows.  Some chick in one of my art classes today was talking about how she loves Kendrick, but after asking her if she knows what Section.80 is..?  Nothing wrong with that, but if you're into an artist you gotta check out some earlier material in their catalog.

Hol' Up - Kendrick Lamar

First song I heard from Kendrick was Ronald Reagan Era, which is also on this album.  I like the chill vibe Hol' Up gives, and the beat is a nice change of pace, too.
