Ozone by Oxygen Pernell Review

Hey, wassap, hello? I know it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted something, but the blog is back now. I got burnt out from writing all those reviews and lost focus. I thought long and hard about what should happen to the blog and what I should do. I decided that I am going to shoot for one review per week. This is to take my time and do it right. Of course I might still do more reviews per week and bring the Top Ten lists back, but that all depends on how I feel. What you guys should expect is a review every week between friday-sunday and a Top Ten during the first week of the month. I just moved back to America about a week ago so it might be a bit shaky during the first month, but I will do my best to keep the schedule as planned.

The homie Oxygen Pernell just released his mixtape Ozone and I decided that that would be a good project to review as the come back of Stuttreach. I’ve featured him several times on the blog and as some of you might recall, I even shot a music video for him before.

Anyways, without wasting any more time lets get down to it.

Kauai By Childish Gambino Review

Hey, what’s going on guys?  I’m reviewing Gambino’s new album/EP/project “Kauai”.  The review for the other project he dropped might be a joint review with someone special, but we will see.

10 Summers - DJ Mustard Review

Yooo, what’s going on everyone? I know it’s been a minute but oh well. Today I have a review of a DJ’s album, whose name and catch phrase is so redic that I can’t even really take him seriously. Homie even looks like his name. His chain is even a bottle of Mustard!

The Ugly Truth - UGLY Review

Yooo, what’s good? I know it’s been awhile, but I haven’t been motivated to do anything for the blog and I didn’t really want to just force something out and half ass it, so I took a short break from it. Today I have this gem that was dropped by a member of the Super Duper Crew.

These Things Happen - G-Eazy Review

Yoo, what’s good? It’s been awhile I know. I’ve been dealing with motivational issues and just being plain busy. I’ll try to post more.

The Drive-In by The Dean's List/Kings Dead

This is gonna be a review between Mike and me, since this is one of our all time favorite mixtapes. I’m gonna skip the skits because although they aren’t bad, there is no need to review them.

Camp by Childish Gambino review by James

This is my favorite album ever made and It’s also the album that influenced me most.
It’s Childish Gambino’s first album and I find it underrated as hell. I got it as soon as it came out and prob know the whole thing by heart.

SOTD - James

Today’s song of the song is different than my usual ones. It’s not trill or hype or anything.

SOTD - James

For my song of the day I was gonna go with the Gambino song that came out yesterday, but I already posted about that. So here’s a different song, that I hope you enjoy. Just so everyone knows though, that new Gambino gets the song of the week from me. Hands down.

On a personal note...

Hey, it's James. This isn't a post about music or anything. It's more of a personal note. Something I want people viewing the blog to understand.

SOTD - James

So this is another early ass Song of the Day from me, like it’s literally 12:03 when I am writing this, but damn son. This song goes so hard and it just came out 6 hours ago.

SOTD - James

For my song of the day, I picked a remix that rapper D-Pryde did of “Royals” by Lorde. I think it’s like 100x better than the original song.

Guns, Bitches and Weed - Left Boy Review by James

The first time I ever heard of this guy was from my friend Jon on facebook. He posted a song by Left Boy called “Get It Right”. That song is so sick that I had to start listening to Left Boy, which I have been since then. So I really like this guy. He’s so crazy. The stuff he says in his raps is just so ridicules. I’m kind of mad that this mixtape is only 7 songs long and that he isn’t really known in America. All of the titles are put as caps on the mixtape so I gotta do that too.

SOTD - James

I know, we’re working on the review for the mixtape this is on, but It’s one of my all-time favorite songs. The song is by “King’s dead” previously known as “The Dean’s List”.

Say Anything + Kendrick Lamar = ?

I’ve been listening to a lot of Say Anything lately, and I came across this.

SOTD - James

Yo, sup? My song of the day is coming at you early today. I got something different than rap for you guys.  I’ve been listening to the band that made this song a lot, even since a young age and this song means a lot to me.

SOTD - James

Whats up?  Today’s song of the day is from a really unknown rapper called “K.I.D”. He changed his name to “Kyle” though. Although he is unknown, this is one of my favorite songs right now.

SOTD - James

Yo what's gucci? Mike and me are starting this thing off on the blog where we each have a song of the day. Mike hasn't done his yet, because he's working on the "fucking banner" (his words not mine). So anyway, without any further wait, here is my song of the day.

My Name is my Name-Pusha T Review by James

Hey, it’s James. Whats good? First off, I came into this album not really knowing of Pusha T besides his song with Tyler, the Creator and “Numbers on the board”. So I was a bit skeptical at first, like I knew he could rap but didn’t know if it was gonna be a good album. I ended up really impressed by it. He has a very interesting rap voice and beat selection. This album is weird though, because it’s not one of those albums just made to sell a boatload of copies. It’s just Pusha T doing his thing and going hard. It’s dirty and grimy and I love it haha.
